Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, and American Express. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

We also ask for the CVV2 code (V-Code) when making a purchase. The V-Code is the 3-digit code that follows your card number on the back of your card. It is often found on the signature strip.

Shipping And Handling Shipping is based on total order value to the lower 48 states, with the exception of some Ice Tents, Sleds, Ice Augers, Trolling Motors, and some downriggers. Shipping internationally will depend on value, unless items are oversized, e-mail us at info@marinegeneral.com or call 1-800-777-8557 for a personalized quote.

Regarding international shipping - brokerage and/or customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Some items in our shopping card are UPS oversized 1 or 2 and require an additional $6.00 or $10.00. Additional shipping charges will be added to the product total.

If shipping on the website is miscalculated for the item purchased, we will e-mail you with the correct shipping charge and give you the option of continuing the order.

Regarding international orders, if the product is defective, we will split shipping costs back to us and give you the option of us crediting your account, or sending a replacement unit to you.

Delivery Schedule We ship all in-stock orders right away. Please call 1-800-777-8557 to place an order you need shipped next day or 2nd day air.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will order it for you, and ship it as soon as possible.

Tax Charges For orders made from within the United States sales tax will be apllied to all in state orders with the exception of clothing. Our business is operated from Minnesota. All other state orders are tax free, please make sure to click the exempt box to reduce tax to zero.

Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

The CVV2 Code, when asked for is the 3-digit code following your card number on the back of the card. (Often on the signature strip) We ask for this code to verify that you have the card in hand, and to prevent any unauthorized purchases.
